America-stan
Note: People not living in America might not understand what I said about Mexicans. In the Southwest United States they get a lot of hate. I made a joke in a language nobody speaks specific to the racist attitudes of a few states in the U.S.

Tanul Neo-Patwa di Toki po Sempela Din, Lyupela Din
Cepela/Napela sta kepela? | What is this/that? |
Yu sema ... kemoda pakai Neo-Patwa di toki? | How do you say ... using Neo-Patwa? |
English-toki | English |
info | yeli | kecapi | ketel | toki |
lili | dwel | maxin | memba | metal |
mama | papa | fokas | pistol | gafamen |
hapi | lisen | hefi | hotel | ofisa |
open | pensil | foto | radio | xalo |
A few of these might not be readily apparent, so the dictionary should be consulted. Also, many Neo-Patwa words have a much broader range of meanings than words in natlangs. So, work on this, look up other English-based words in the dictionary, and keep looking for things to plug into the partial phrases from the lessons. Only one more to go. Excited?
Xanti

Tanul Neo-Patwa di Toki po Sempela Din, Nampela Din
Mi mau ... | I want ... |
Yu tene ..., ma? | Do you have ... ? |
Minta dena mi ... | Please give me ... |
Mi sabe kini ... anda kelado? | Where can I buy ... ? |
Mi suka ... | I like ... |
Mi mau kini ... | I want to buy ... |
Cepela/Napela sta kemuito? | How much is this/that? |
Kemuito? | How much? |
With this lesson you should go through the Neo-Patwa dictionary and find words that interest you. Find things to insert into the '...' parts of the phrases. You can also negate things by inserting 'no' before the verb, so you can say, for example, 'Mi no suka ...' (I don't like ...).
Also, it is acceptable to use a proper noun with a class suffix. 'I like Guinness Stout' could be 'Mi suka Guinness-biya'. 'Where can I buy a Rottweiler?' would be 'Mi sabe kini Rottweiler-ulu anda kelado?'

Well, here we are on day four already. Numbers are very useful, but also not a very interesting thing to learn. At least that's always been my experience. Some other number words are the suffix -pela, which shows you are counting something (e.g. calpela balu, or in english, four bears) and the prefix nume- for the ordinals (e.g. nume-wan for first). While writing this I noticed that I have been titling my posts wrong. Calpela din is four days, but Nume-cal di din, fourth day, would probably make more sense. Oh well.
