Note: People not living in America might not understand what I said about Mexicans. In the Southwest United States they get a lot of hate. I made a joke in a language nobody speaks specific to the racist attitudes of a few states in the U.S.

Do you prefer Neo patwa to Toki pona?

I know the question wasn't addressed to me, and I'm not really qualified to answer, but I wonder what you think as well. My own perception, as a "not completely unbiased" observer, is that Toki Pona is better organized than Neo Patwa, and more compact, but that the two are really different in a way, because NP is intended to be sort of evolutionary and changing, whereas I think TP is more like an artlang.
I should really check back here more often, but I've been really busy. One, I was trying to say "We made Iraqis into the Mexicans of the Middle-East." I was just making a one-off joke, but now that I think about it, I'm a horrible person.
Two, toki pona is a beautiful language, but why compare it to Neo-Patwa? What's better, Esperanto or Lojban? What about Icelandic or Italian? Sometimes you want an orange, sometimes you want an apple.

First, about the comment itself, I don't think there is anything horrible. My understanding is that you were saying that we (the US) are pushing Iraqis into poverty, and that they will end up becoming like the relationship between Mexico and the US. It may not be true, but I don't think there's anything unreasonable at all about the thought. I think there are some differences, i.e. Iraq is a place with a long history, going back to Ur and Babylon, so things are probably not so simple.
But in any case, I can suggest another way to say it. I don't know if it is better, but I'm still trying to find good ways to say things.
"Mi-saba sase Iraq-yan lai Arabiya-dunya di Mexico-yan."
A direct translation is "We cause Iraqis become Arab-world's Mexicans."
And then one other thing: you should check back more often! You may not realize it, but your blog is a really nice thing for Neo Patwa. I wish that there were blogs written by people from a bunch of languages, because reading yours gives me good ideas about what needs to be made more specific, what expressions are easy and which are difficult, etc.
